Geography Coaching

At The Geographical Imaginations Expedition & Institute (The GIEI), our Geography Coaching program provides rigorous, individualized academic support for students studying geography at secondary and undergraduate levels worldwide.

We work with students across major international curricula, including:

  • AP Human Geography (APHG)
  • iGCSE Geography
  • A-Level Geography
  • IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP)
  • Undergraduate Human Geography

Our approach is grounded in both academic expertise and practical experience, supporting students not only in mastering content, but in developing the analytical and writing skills required to succeed in high-stakes assessments.

Our Approach

Geography Coaching is designed to be targeted, flexible, and student-centered.

We do not replicate full classroom instruction. Instead, we focus on:

  • Strengthening conceptual understanding
  • Developing geographic thinking and analytical skills
  • Improving performance on assessments and examinations
  • Providing structured feedback on written work

Sessions are tailored to each student’s needs and may be scheduled as one-time consultations or as part of an ongoing coaching plan.
