Imagining Detroit Geographies (click for a pdf) was a presentation given by Kevin S. Fox at Pecha Kucha Night Detroit Vol. 28 in conjunction with the 24th Annual Congress for the New Urbanism.  The theme was “The Transforming City.”

The Geographical Imaginations Expedition & Institute (The GIEI) is an education and civic learning initiative that uses human geography, dialogue, and systems thinking to help young people and communities better understand global interdependence, inequality, and planetary futures. The GIEI designs learning experiences and research projects that cultivate imagination, critical thinking, and collective agency around global challenges.
